About

A music collaboration app that matches you by sound, not by bio.

Muselink.app is an iOS app for music creators. Upload a 10–15 second snippet, tag the role you’re looking for, and discover collaborators whose taste actually fits yours — through a swipeable feed built for short ideas, not finished tracks.

Why Muselink.app exists

Most music creators today juggle producer, songwriter, beatmaker and mix engineer roles just to finish a project — and they end up burning out before promotion even starts. The fix isn’t doing more alone. It’s finding the right collaborators. But the tools most artists use to do that — Instagram DMs, TikTok comments, random Discord servers, generic marketplaces — were built for content and clout, not for focused collaboration.

The result is a familiar loop: you post a beat, you cold-DM a vocalist, you wait, you don’t hear back, you try again. Most serious collaborators get those messages every day and ignore them, because there’s no signal in a generic pitch that this specific track is for them.

Muselink.app starts from a different premise: the music itself is the signal. If a vocalist hears 15 seconds of your beat and likes it, that’s already more information than a bio or a portfolio could ever provide. So the app is built around that exchange — and almost nothing else.

How it works

You record or upload a 10–15 second snippet directly in the app. You tag a goal — “Find a Vocalist,” “Find a Producer,” “Find a Mix Engineer,” or one of several others — and pick a gradient that becomes the visual signature of the snippet inside our native iOS audio visualizer. The snippet enters the discovery feed.

Other creators encounter your snippet by swiping. They listen, tap like or skip, and move on. Chat only opens on a mutual like — both sides have already heard each other and signaled interest, so there’s no inbox spam and no cold pitches. Every five skips, the feed also surfaces snippets from creators who already liked you, so the matching algorithm helps connect the people already searching for each other.

When you want to share your snippet outside the app — on Instagram, TikTok, X — Muselink.app exports it as a 720×1280 HD video with the audio, the visualizer, and your goal tag baked in. The intent travels with the post.

Who it’s for

Muselink.app is built for music creators aged 13–25 — producers, vocalists, songwriters, beatmakers, and mix engineers — who want to collaborate beyond their immediate circle. The matching is intentionally cross-genre: the algorithm prioritizes sound fit over genre tags, so you’re more likely to discover collaborators in lanes you haven’t explored.

You can browse the discovery feed as a visitor before signing up. Once you join, you keep your DAW, your portfolio, and your workflow — Muselink.app is the discovery layer that sits on top, not a replacement for the tools you already use.

Where we are now

Muselink.app is currently in TestFlight early access on iOS and is free during this phase. Android and web are on the roadmap but aren’t yet available — the native Metal audio visualizer is a core part of the experience and was built specifically for iOS.

The priority right now is building the collaboration graph rather than extracting fees. Creators who join during early access keep a permanent spot in the seed network when public launch lands.
